Bengaluru: Dakshina Kannada District In-Charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary on Sunday June 6 met D. V. Sadananda Gowda, Minister of State, Chemical and Fertilisers and discussed about shortage of vaccine in both Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
Speaking to the minister, Srinivas Poojary appraised him of the Covid situation in the districts. Further, he urged to release more vaccines to the twin districts.
Following Poojary’s request, Gowda immediately ordered Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan to sanction 25000 each to the districts.
