Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district administration has launched a voter helpline No 1950 to assist people for voter registration, changes and other works related to the electoral roll.
People can call the helpline either from their landline or mobile phone to get assistance, said helpline’s nodal officer and Assistant Commissioner, Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Prameela, in a press release.
While the callers from within the district can dial the number without prefixing the STD code (0824), those from outside the district who need help in Dakshina Kannada can prefix the STD code, the press release said.
