Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president D K Shivakumar was, on Friday, September 4, admitted to a private hospital in the city once again. According to sources, the former minister was rushed to the hospital after developing a fever on Thursday.
It can be recalled that just days ago, on August 31, DKShi was discharged from a hospital after recovering from COVID-19.
Sources have said that the Congress leader’s oxygen saturation levels dropped from normal and that he also has a urinary tract infection. DKShi has been admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar of the city.
On the work front, DKShi has been criticising the state government for their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and has also accused them of corruption. He also criticised the government for not providing adequate compensation to those who have been affected by the floods that hit the northern and central parts of the state.
