Bengaluru: Ramesh Jarakiholi, Minister for Municipalities and Local Bodies, continued his verbal attack on major irrigation minister DK Shivakumar. Speaking to reporters in Kudligi town, he called DKS a ‘showman’ saying, “He must stop behaving like a showman. Instead, he must work hard for the party.”
Responding to DKShi’s apology for giving the Lingayat community a separate religion tag, Jarakiholi said that it is DKShi’s personal statement.
“What was he doing when the decision in this regard was taken at the cabinet meeting?” he questioned.
“DKShi supporter Lakshmi Hebbalkar often makes statements in support of the minority religious tag to the Lingayats. Why DKShi is silent about her?” he questioned.
He also stated that he will support former major irrigation minister MB Patil in this issue.
