Bengaluru: A day after Tamil organisations and political parties vehemently opposed the three-language formula proposed in the draft educational policy, Karnataka also joined the chorus. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy stated that it is unfair to impose any one language on the people.

In a tweet, he stated that he has come to know about the three-language formula. “It is not right and unfair to impose any one language on the people. The Karnataka government will communicate its decision after collecting more details,” he stated.

Meanwhile, several Kannada organisations are using social media to raise opposition and show solidarity with Tamil Nadu. Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya was also trolled for claiming that Sanskrit is the mother of all Indian languages.
