Bengaluru: BJP MP from Bengaluru South Tejaswi Surya is under the line of fire for his statement that the Karnataka doesn’t require funds for the flood relief. Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal warned the MP not to issue such baseless statements.
“We will not tolerate if Tejaswi continues to issue such statements. The people of North Karnataka will teach a lesson if he does not withdraw the statement,” he warned.
“We are not begging the central government. We are asking for our rights. Surya must understand this,” he said.
“The people of North Karnataka are facing a worst-ever crisis. The people’s representatives of the region are not dead. We will not allow anybody to give any false, anti-North Karnataka statements,” he said.
