Bengaluru: The special investigation team handling the DySP Kallappa Handbag suicide case has arrested a person in Bengaluru on Sunday, July 24.
The arrested is Joy Milton. He was arrested from a house at Anepalya, Bengaluru.
According to police sources, Joy is one of the key accused in the kidnapping case in Chikkamagaluru that led to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) of Chikkamagaluru sub-division Kallappa Handibag’s suicide.
The police had earlier arrested Abhiram, an associate of main suspect Praveen Khandya. Khandya and his associates Naveen Shetty, Ashwin Shetty and Jeeva are still on the run. The police are on the lookout for the suspects not only in Karnataka but also in other states.
