Bengaluru: City Police Commissioner T Suneel Kumar on Thursday said that all hotels and eateries can stay open until 1 am all days of the week. Kumar also said hotels and eateries near the Kempegowda Bus Station and Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station can remain open 24 hours for the convenience travelers.
All police stations across the city have been intimated about the deadline and instructed to step up patrolling and maintain law and order. Earlier, there was no clarity over hotels’ stipulated closing hours, and most police stations instructed hotel owners to close down by 11.30 pm.
On the closing hours of liquor outlets, the police commissioner said stipulated closing hours for bars and restaurants, pubs, wine stores and clubs are mentioned in the clauses of their licences and the liquor outlets will have to follow them accordingly.
