Bengaluru/Delhi: Congress leader D K Shivakumar is once again in trouble with the Enforcement Directorate as he has been summoned by the law enforcement agency in another case related to the intial alleged money laundering case.
According to reports, DKShi was summoned to appear before the ED on January 14 in New Delhi for the investigation. They have asked him to appear with the necessary documents related to his business transactions in 2013-14.
Close associates of the Congress leader have informed that he will be flying to New Delhi to meet his advocate, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, to enquire if the summons can be quashed by the Supreme Court.
It can be recalled that DKShi’s plea to dismiss the ED summons was rejected by the Karnataka High Court on Thursday, January 2.
