Bengaluru: Primary and secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar has hit headline many a times due to his simplicity. However, on Thursday, the minister again shows his humble side by staying at a government school at N Achchammanahalli school in Pavagada taluk.
Suresh Kumar arrived at the village from Madhugiri in the evening. He was extended a lavish ‘Poornakumbha’ welcome. Later he interacted with the students, teachers and parents. He had food in the school and later spent the night in the same school.
In the morning, Suresh Kumar, after a yoga performance attended the morning prayers.
At the time of interaction, many parents urged Suresh Kumar to introduce English medium of instruction in the school. Suresh Kumar assured that he will consider their demand. Kumar also took the stock of the situation in the school and asked teachers to ensure quality education. Senior officials of the education department accompanied him.
