Banks: Closed on April 26.
Dry Days: Bengaluru imposes three dry days to maintain peace during voting:
- Liquor sales suspended from April 24, 5 pm, to April 26, midnight.
- Prohibitory orders (Section 144 of CrPC) from April 24, 6 pm, to April 26, midnight.
Open Institutions and Services: Despite closures, essential services will operate normally:
- Public Transport: BMTC and BMRCL services will run as usual.
- Hospitals: Fully functional.
- Commercial Establishments: Generally open, possibly starting later to accommodate early voting.
