Bengaluru: As the result of Common Entrance Test (CET) for professional courses is declared, the counselling process for the engineer courses will begin within a week.
According to the sources, verification of documents has begun on June 5. The common student document verification process which was scheduled for June 7 has been postponed. NATA exam result is put on hold. “Separate admission cannot be done for the students joining architecture courses, so the process has been postponed”, the CET director informed.
“The new higher education minister may take charge on Wednesday, May 7 and seat sharing, fee fixation will be solved later. A date will be fixed within a week without making any delay for the students”, said Higher Education Department Chief Secretary Rajkumar Khatri.
“Counselling process will be held just like last year. There will not be any change in quota including sports quota”, he added.
