Bengaluru: Here is good news for second pre-university students who are waiting for the results. The uncertainty over evaluation of the second pre-university answer scripts have come to an end after lecturers and principals had a four-hour long meeting with Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait on Wednesday.
The president of the Karnataka State Pre-University College Lecturers’ Association Thimmaiah Purle said that the government had agreed to one round of increments to lecturers, and they will report to the evaluation centres on Monday. As many as 23,000 evaluators will be roped in.
It may be recalled that lecturers decided to boycott the evaluation work in support of their demands.
