Bengaluru: After winning the by-elections, now the BJP national leadership has started micro-management of even the corporation election.
In a bid to win the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) election, the party is making all round efforts.
As part of the party strategy, the BJP has deputed two leaders from the state, who have Telugu connection.
Health and family welfare minister Dr K Sudhakar and Bommanahalli MLA Satish Reddy, both known for their Telugu connection have been appointed as the co-in-charges for the GHMC election.
Interestingly, Telangana election commission has not issued election notification.
The term of the existing corporators is scheduled to expire on February 10, 2021. On November 14, the election
commission published the final electoral rolls.
“This is an example to show how the BJP is taking all the elections seriously. Both these leaders have been asked to spend more time on Telangana politics,” said a BJP state leader.
