Bengaluru: Farmer leader Kodihalli Chandrashekar, who heads the Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) group, joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the presence of the party’ convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Bengaluru on Thursday April 21.
The event happened during a farmers’ convention in Bengaluru, ahead of next year’s Assembly elections.
The convention is being organised to demand that the State Government withdraw amendments to the land reforms Act and the APMC Act, as well as a statutory guarantee for minimum support price.
