In two tragic incidents, Bengaluru witnessed the loss of young lives due to fatal accidents.
A 28-year-old techie from Andhra Pradesh, V Rudrani, employed at a software firm in ITPL, lost her life after being hit by a tanker in Whitefield. The accident occurred around 5.45 pm on Varthur-Gunjur Road near Prestige Lakeside Habitat apartments while Rudrani was commuting home. Despite immediate medical attention, she succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital. The Whitefield traffic police have detained the truck driver involved and filed an FIR.
In another incident late Monday night, Tulsi Kumar Roy, a 23-year-old PG helper from Bihar, tragically passed away in a high-speed motorcycle crash in Marathahalli. Roy lost control of the motorcycle, colliding with a compound wall near Wipro’s back gate after hitting a road hump. His pillion rider and colleague, Mahendra Kumar, also sustained injuries in the accident.
