Bengaluru: The South Western Railway has decided to continue services of two special tatkal trains introduced during the festival season to clear the rush of passengers.
The railways has been decided to continue the services of Yeshwantpur-Pandharpur-Yeshwantpur weekly Tatkal special (06541/06542) for four more trips in each direction and (06579/06580), Yeshwantpur-Visakhapatnam-Yeshwantpur weekly Tatkal express special for eight more trips in each direction.
According to a South Western Railway release, Yeshwantpur-Pandharpur weekly Tatkal special (06541) will leave Yeshwantpur at 6 p.m. every Thursday effective from October 5 till October 26, 2017 (four trips) and reach Pandhrapur at 11.35 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, Pandharpur-Yeshwantpur weekly Tatkal special (06542) will leave Pandharpur at 1.35 p.m. on every Friday with effect from October 6 till October 27 (four trips) and reach Yeshwantpur at 6.20 a.m. the next day.
Meanwhile, according to a SWR release, Yeshwantpur-Visakhapatnam weekly Tatkal express special (06579) will leave Yeshwantpur at 6.35 p.m. every Friday, with effect from October 6 till November 24, 2017, and reach Visakhapatnam at 2.35 p.m the next day.
In the return direction, Visakhapatnam-Yeshwantpur weekly Tatkal Express (06580) special will depart from Visakhapatnam at 1.45 p.m. on every Sunday from October 8 till November 26 and reach Yeshwantpur at 9.05 a.m. the next day.
