Bengaluru: Fire broke out at Vibhava industries in Sheravada village of the Dharwad district on Monday.
This factory belongs to union minister Prahlad Joshi and the unit produces broom and phenyl.
As it was Vijayadashami day, the factory was closed. Hence no workers were present in the unit at the time of the mishap.
Four fire tenders were rushed to douse off the fire.
According to the initial reports, short circuit is the cause of the fire. Dharwad rural police visited the spot and launched an investigation.
