Bengaluru: Iconic Lal Bagh of the city is known for the independence day flower show. This year the theme of the flower show will be Indian armed forces and the sacrifice made by our soldiers for the sake of the country.
But, every year due to the heavy rush, the parking is the biggest problem faced by the visitors and to address this issue, this year the horticulture department has decided to opt for smart parking solution. This smart parking solution has been implemented in five acres site belonging to the park and will provide a permanent solution to the parking woes henceforth.
According to the authorities, the Bosch Group under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme is implementing this scheme at a cost of Rs.2.75 crores.
As per the proposal, the company will provide this solution in 5 acres parking lot reserved for the parking of the visitor’s vehicles. “This system will be a permanent one. Once this system is operationalised, the visitors will not have any headache of the parking. This facility will provide parking facility for 33 buses, 250 four wheelers and more than 350 two-wheelers,” informed authorities.
