Bengaluru: Children in their tender age often have dreams of becoming doctor, engineer, astronaut, or to join civil services. Similarly, five kids, who have dreamt of becoming civil servants, but their health condition may not allow them to realise this dream beamed smiles as they went on to become police commissioners of Bengaluru city for a day.
Make a Wish Foundation, in association with Bengaluru City Police provided an opportunity to these kids to become the Bengaluru city police commissioner for a day, here on Monday, August 9.
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao made way for Rutan Kumar, eight-year-old who is suffering from kidney failure, Mohammad Saheeb, 11-year-old, suffering from blood cancer, Arshad Pasha, eight-year-old, ailing from sickle disease, Shravani Batala, aged eight years, ailing from thalassemia and Sayyad Iman , four-year-old suffering from blood pressure and kidney related disease.
All the five were given the guard of honour by the police personnel as well as the dog squad.
