Bengaluru: In a first of its kind experiment in the entire country, first bar and restaurant owned, operated and served by women will be thrown open only to women on March 8.
This bar and restaurant is coming up on up market Brigade road of the city.
It has been named as ‘Miss and Misses Bar and Restaurant and Lounge’ and will be spread over 2,500 square feet.
The unique feature of this restaurant is that right from bouncers to the owners, all are women.
It will open at 12 noon and serve customers till 1 am.
The cab service by women will also be made available for the customers and the staff.
According to Panjuri V Shankar, owner of this bar, based on the consumers feedback more such restaurants will be opened across the city.
