Bengaluru: Shikha, former Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru who was recently transferred as commissioner of social welfare department has been transferred again as Director of Pre University Education, following a minor reshuffle of IAS officers.
It may be recalled that as DC of Mysore Shikha drew wide public attention after she took on former ZP president Marigowda, a close confidante of Chief Minister Siddramaiah after the former intimidated her in public. Eventually Marigowda was jailed based on her complaint and came out of prison on conditional bail. She was transferred to the social service department as commissioner and even before she could a get a feel of the new department she has been transferred to the department of Pre-University education.
