Bengaluru: Former Union minister, V Dhananjay Kumar has, reportedly, been hospitalised and is in serious condition.
It is learnt that Kumar was suffering from a kidney problem and was taken to a private hospital to be admitted around three days ago. He was subsequently moved into the intensive care unit on Sunday, July 1, when his condition deteriorated.
Kumar began his political career with the BJP and remained with them till last year when he joined the Congress party. Kumar served as a Member of Parliament for four successive terms and as a Union minister three times while representing the BJP. He was also one of the founding members of the Karnataka Janata Party.
