Bengaluru: The state reported four more COVID-19 positive cases on May 11 evening, one of whom is from Andhra Pradesh. The state’s tally has now risen to 862.
The person from Andhra is a 55-year-old woman who has been admitted to a hospital in the Bengaluru Urban area. She is a contact of Patient 796. Another person from Bengaluru and contact of Patient 796, a 26-year-old man tested positive for the disease.
The two other cases have been reported from Hassan and Mandya. The case from Hassan is a 30-year-old woman and the person from Mandya is a 38-year-old man. Both have a history of travel to Mumbai and have been admitted at a hospital in Mandya, according to the bulletin released by the health department.
Of the 862 cases, 31 are deaths, one is a non-COVID caused death and 426 are discharges.
Earlier in the day, 10 people tested positive for COVID-19.
