Bengaluru: All the fuel stations in the state will remain shut on July 12, in protest against the center’s decision to revise the prices of petrol and diesel on daily basis.
A decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of state petroleum dealers’ association. “This is part of nation-wide strike call given by the dealers association,” said an office—bearer.
“Daily price revision has led to huge loss for the dealers. Even though association is opposing this since day one, union petroleum ministry is adamant. So we have decided go for a day’s strike on July 12,” he said.
He also informed that none of the fuel stations will receive supply on July 12. “This means, there will not be supply even on July 13,” he said.
