“There will be no protection or leniency for anyone involved. We will not yield to any pressures,” Parameshwara told the press.

The home minister refrained from sharing sensitive details publicly but assured that the investigation report would be released upon completion of the probe. When asked about the timeline for the investigation, Parameshwara stated that the probing team would determine it.

“Actions will be taken in accordance with the law. Both the Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, and I have repeatedly emphasized our commitment to act without bias,” he added.

Addressing the reappointment of Inspector Girish Naik to the investigation team, Parameshwara explained that such decisions are made based on administrative needs, and it is up to the police department to decide the team’s composition.

Darshan, Gowda, and 17 others were arrested on June 8, charged with the murder of Renukaswamy from Chitradurga, allegedly for sending obscene messages to Gowda.
