Bengaluru: In a sudden development, former minister Gali Janardhana Reddy who was arrested in Ambident Marketing Pvt Ltd fraud case by the CCB police and named as accused No. 6 met former chief Minister and BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa on Friday midnight.
According to the sources in the BJP, Reddy arrived at BSY’s residence at around 1 AM and held a discussion about the issues that led to his arrest. He has reportedly, appealed to BSY to help him in this crisis and assured of total support if ‘Operation Kamala’ was launched.
According to the sources, Reddy gave a list of 14 MLAs who are ready to resign and topple the state government. BSY assured him of discussing the matter with the persons concerned.
Gali Janardhana Reddy also urged the BSY to allow him to rejoin the party.
