Bengaluru: Nityananda Swamiji, who claims that he is the “God” and has a ‘third eye’ like Lord Shiva, has again been in the spotlight for his recent remark on his ‘supernatural power’ of stopping the sun from rising early.
The self-proclaimed “God”, in a video, claims that he had ordered the ‘Sun God’ to rise late by 40 minutes and that was the reason it was delayed.
He said, “I had asked the Sun to rise at 7 AM instead of 6:20 AM. The sun did not rise late because of gloomy weather but only because of my command. That was the reason for me to conduct the ritual of Dhwajarohanam (hoisting of a ritualistic flag) late. Only after this ritual is completed, my day begins. But today, I completed the ritual a little late. Hence, the sun too rose late in the east following my commands.”
It can also be seen that after his statement, his so called followers shower him with applause.
The video has now gone viral across social media platforms.
