A 59-year-old headmaster, Narasimhamurthy, was discovered hanging at his residence in Byadarahalli on Friday. A suspected death note attributed his tragic demise to ongoing tensions with relatives over a property dispute.

Narasimhamurthy, employed at a government school in Hoskote, was approaching retirement in January 2025. According to police, he had been entangled in a contentious civil case regarding the property.

“He and his relatives were involved in a property dispute, which is being heard in court,” a police official confirmed.

Investigations are ongoing as authorities attempt to verify the circumstances leading to this unfortunate incident.
