Bengaluru: In continuation of earlier guidelines, staff in departments that work to ensure essential services of people are met will function with full strength, while the rest will continue with 50% of strength. According to a circular, the State Government has continued its guidelines on work from home option for its employees too. Further, in the circular, Chief Secretary P. Ravi Kumar adds that departments such as Home, Revenue, Labour, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Women & Child Development, Health And Family Welfare, Medical Education Department will work from office.
However, in the rest of the departments, only group A officers need to come to work while B, C and D groups will work on a rotational basis maintaining 50% of strength.
Further, differently-abled and pregnant employees will be exempted from work from office, the circular added
