Bengaluru: A man’s greed for a mere Rs 10 ended up with him losing the Rs 1.4 lac that he had just withdrawn from a bank.
On Saturday, the victim, David Thomas who works as a security guard was headed home after withdrawing Rs 1.4 lac from a bank. It was at this time that some bike-borne miscreants, who had been following him purposely dropped Rs. 10 note in front of him and snatched the bag of money as David bent to pick the money. The incident took place in Victoria Layout Vivek Nagar police limit.
A case has been registered with the police.
