Harassed by transgender acquaintance, man ends life

Bengaluru: A person committed suicide allegedly after he failed to cope up with the torture from a transgender on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as William (21), a resident of Biayappanahalli.

It is said that William flung himself before a running train near Baiyappanahalli railway station.

According to police, William had a sort of acquaintance with a transgender person for over two years and also had financial deals with that person.

William is said to have owed to marry the sister of his acquaintance but later denied and went missing.

However, when all of the attempts of the transgender person to convince William and his family for the matrimonial alliance met failure, a group of transgenders circulated handbills and pasted wall posters across William’s neighbourhood on April 3 about William and his family.

Insulted by this act, William reportedly ended life.
