Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has stayed the proceedings in the FIR filed by actress Chaithra Hallikeri against her husband and businessman Balaji Pothraj and his father.

The actress had filed a case against her husband, father-in-law, and a bank manager, alleging that they had forged her signature and used her bank account without her consent.

In her complaint, Chaithra claimed that her husband and father-in-law were managing a South India Bank account in her name without her knowledge. In her name, loans and other financial transactions are said to have been made.
