Bengaluru: After making a string of allegations against the Chief Minister, JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy had a new allegation to hurl.
HDK was the one to speak first about the Rs 70 lac diamond-studded Hublot watch of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and now HDK feels that the Siddaramaiah government is eavesdropping on the conversations of opposition leaders to foil their attacks.
“My phones are under surveillance after I started tracing the genesis of the expensive Hublot wrist watch. I would have got more details on who were pressuring Sudhakar Shetty, whose house was burgled in the city, if my phones were not tapped. Among the stolen articles was a watch resembling the controversial Hublot,” Kumaraswamy insisted.
Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Jagadish Shettar has also accused Siddaramaiah of tapping phones of opposition leaders after they started questioning about the watch.
HDK dropped yet another bomb by stating that Gulam Nabi Azad, who was in charge of the Congress affairs in Karnataka in 2014, cautioned him against calling him from official number.
