Bengaluru: Former CM HD Kumaraswamy, whose wife Anita Kumaraswamy represents Ramanagar constituency in the state assembly has slammed the state government’s decision to keep the Padarayanapura riot accused in the Ramanagar district jail.
“The accused can be the secondary contacts of Covid 10 positive persons. Ramanagar has not reported any Covid 19 cases till now. Why this government is doing like this,” he questioned.
The state government is keeping all the riot accused in Ramanagar jail keeping in mind the safety of prisoners in Parappana Agrahara.
He also asked the state government to ensure that all the needy get the food kits. “No one should be denied food. Every one is struggling to make both ends meet. The government should reach out to all,” he urged.
