Bangaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has been the target of trolls who have pointed out that ever since he took office, the CM has been on an apparent ‘temple run’ in all parts of the state. Now, it has been reported that the Chief Minister was in Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, on account of Vaikunta Ekadasi, to offer special pujas.

The CM was reportedly in Tirupati with family, to celebrate the 62nd birthday of his brother, PWD minister H D Revanna. On Sunday, the CM celebrated his 58th birthday with his wife MLA Anitha Kumaraswamy and son Nikhil Kumar in Bengaluru.

HDK’s repeated visits to temples has been the butt of many jokes and has also been used as a talking point by rival political leaders, who accuse him of focussing more on temples than the people under his care.
