Bengaluru: The state is witnessing rains due to the depression over the Arabian Sea and it is going to intensify from October 10th for 4 more days.
The southern districts of the state Kodagu, Mandya, Mysuru is expected to get heavy rains. Also, other districts Ballari, Chikkaballapura, Chitradurga, Tumakuru, Bidar, Kalaburgi, Raichur, and Yadgir are issued the yellow alerts as heavy rains with thunderstorm from October 11 informed the Metrological department.
Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Rural, and Kolar districts also have been issued a yellow alert on October 12. Monsoon rains have stopped in the state, still, rain is expected to hit again and will continue till October 15 informed C.S. Patil, Director, Metrological Department, Bengaluru.
