- Other notable areas included Nagapura with 104 mm and Hampi Nagar with 102 mm.

Impact on Residents:
- The rains caused water to flood an old-age home in Basaveshwaranagar, affecting over 15 residents.
- A compound wall collapsed in Binnypet, damaging around 10 parked bikes and leading to drainage water entering the vicinity.
- In Kendriya Vihar, Yelahanka, more than 1,000 apartments were affected, requiring rescues as water levels rose.
- Attur and Vijayanagar also saw significant flooding, with the newly inaugurated Palike Bazar submerged.

- Flooding affected traffic movement throughout the city as waterlogged roads created hazardous conditions.

- Thundershowers are expected to continue in Bengaluru and parts of south interior Karnataka until October 9, according to forecasts.
- The IMD has issued warnings for heavy rain, thunder, and lightning in the region, with further heavy rainfall anticipated for coastal and Malnad districts until October 8.
