Bengaluru: On Tuesday November 16, the City received 52 mm of rain as of 8.30 am, according to data from the Indian Meteorological Department-Bengaluru (IMD).
According to the forecast, more rain and thundershowers are likely on Wednesday November 17 in Bengaluru and other areas of the State.
“Rain/thundershowers are highly likely to occur across Coastal and South interior Karnataka, and in a few locations over North interior Karnataka,” informed IMD.
Heavy rains are expected in isolated areas over Coastal Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada Districts as well as South Interior Karnataka’s Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, Tumakuru, Chitradurga, Mandya, Ramanagara, Bengaluru Urban, Bengalure Rural, Chikkaballapura, and Kolar Districts.
Thunderstorm warnings were also issued over areas of Coastal and South-Central Karnataka.
