Bengaluru: Following intelligence warning, the city is on high alert.
According to the sources in the city police, the intelligence police alerted them with a few specific inputs and directed them to be extra careful.
These kinds of alerts are issued at regular intervals, however, following the Pulwama terror attack, there is the possibility of a nation-wide strike by the terrorists who are plotting an act of revenge.
According to the authorities, in Bengaluru all the security measures are already in place. “Most of the public places have metal detectors beside round the clock CCTV monitoring. Police surveillance is carried out strictly,” added an officer.
Along with Bengaluru, even Pune police too have been alerted with specific inputs.
