Bengaluru: Commenting controversially on High Court’s decision to uphold the ban on hijab in educational institutions in the State, Congress legislator from Jharkhand Irfan Ansari on Tuesday March 15 charged that BJP has been running courts in the nation.
Speaking to mediapersons here Ansari said, “I won’t say anything on the court verdict. It is not a good tradition that BJP is running courts.”
Meanwhile Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Asa’d Madani expressed that he was deeply disappointed with Hijab verdict by the HC. No society is governed by its legal nuances only but traditional and social values matter a lot too.
