Bengaluru: In a big relief to the hotel and restaurant owners, the state government is likely to permit them to restart operations from May 27.

According to the sources, CM BS Yediyurappa scheduled a meeting with hotel owners’ federation on May 26 where the final modalities of reopening will be decided.

Chandrasekhar Hebber, president, state hotel owners’ federation confirmed about the meeting with the CM on May 26.

It can be recalled that at present the state government permits only parcel service from the hotels.

Around two lakh families across the state depend on the hotel business. All hotels are shut from March 22.
