Bengaluru: Shocked by the worst-ever defeat of his party in the Lok Sabha elections, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy held a meeting with the party leaders till 2 am, on Friday morning. Senior leaders from Mandya and Tumakuru met him and if sources are to be believed, the CM lost his calm and was seen screaming at the party leaders for the defeat of his son and father in their respective constituencies.
According to the sources, it was B M Farooq, party leader from Mangaluru who met the CM first in the noon. Later, senior leaders met him and discussed the election result.
According to the sources, the CM was upset with the party leaders from Mandya and Tumakuru and wanted an answer as to how his son Nikhil and father H D Devegowda lost in the constituencies.
Meanwhile, CM HDK will hold a press meet on Friday afternoon to announce his next step.
