Bengaluru: On Sunday, June 14, one of the four KPCC working presidents Satish Jarakiholi was absent for various rituals carried out at the KPCC office on Queen’s Road by newly appointed party state unit president DK Shivakumar. Even though former CM Siddaramaiah, senior leaders including Mallikharjun Kharge, Eshwar Khandre and others attended the rituals, Jarakiholi’s absence led to curiosity.
Now Satish Jarakiholi talked about the issue. He made it clear that he didn’t attend any rituals as he doesn’t believe in any of them.
“Those who like such rituals performed it. Personally I don’t believe in any of them. As I had some other works, I didn’t go near the party office,” he said.
He also made it clear that in the upcoming MLC election, party loyalists will be recognised and given tickets.
He stated that BJP is now a divided house. “There is no future for the party after some time,” he said.
