Bengaluru: One of the first few specialty hospitals in the city, Sita Bhateja specialty hospital in Shantinagar will shut down soon. The inpatient services will conclude on June 30, while outpatient service will be stopped by July 31.
It can be recalled that its founder, well-known doctor, philatelist Dr. Sita Bhateja died in December 2018.
The hospital management issued a media release in this regard.
Dr. Arvind Bhateja, a noted neurosurgeon who is also a noted neurosurgeon who also known for raising funds for the poor patients through various activities including cycling informed that all the specialty services will be moved to Sparsh Speciality Hospital on the Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Road (Infantry Road). “The Dr (Mrs) Sita Bhateja’s Nursing Home Charitable Trust, which runs and manages the hospital, will, however, continue its charitable activities as usual,” the statement reads.
