Bengaluru: State Contractors’ Association President D. Kempanna sent shockwaves across the State by making allegations that 40% commission is sought from all the contractors by the politicians and the officials. He even had approached the Prime Minister’s Office in this regard. Now Kempanna has dropped another bombshell saying if he releases the pertaining documents, the government will fall immediately.
“If we release the document, the government will not stay in power even for a day. More than 25 MLAs and four chief engineers will lose their job,” he said.
Urging the State Government to order for an inquiry, he stated that corruption was in every regime. But today it has become part of the Government. To get contract, we need to pay money in advance, he added.
He also said that the association sought an appointment with the Prime Minister after March 10 to discuss the corruption in the State.
