Bengaluru: Education minister S Suresh Kumar, on Wednesday, announced that the second PU exams and SSLC exams will be held in the second week of May and the first week of June, respectively.

A decision in this regard was taken during a meeting on Wednesday, the Minister said on his social media.
Details of topics of the various subjects for the exams will be marked for teaching and learning and sent to the schools. This is being done so that no student is adversely affected, he added.

It can be recalled that schools and colleges across the state reopened only recently after months of being shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Tuesday, 51 teachers and four students tested positive for the virus.
