Bengaluru: Keeping in mind the importance of communication of emergency decisions to the examination center incharges, the state Pre University Education department has decided to allow the examination center officials to use the basic mobile sets in the halls.
A decision in this regard was announced by primary and secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar at a meeting of the senior officials from the department.
“The idea is that if the basic mobile set is available, it is easy to deliver the important messages. It will clear all the doubts,” he said.
He also informed that this year the question paper vehicle will be monitored by the central office itself to ensure that they will move in the right route prescribed by the department for the question paper delivery.
“We are confident that the examination will be conducted in a foolproof manner,” he explained.
