Bengaluru: Over 6.8 lakh students will write the II PUC final examination, which will start on Wednesday across the state. The examination will continue till March 23.
The examination will be held at 1,0016 examination centres across the state.
Among the students appearing for the examination, girl students, at 3.41 lakh outnumber the boys, who are 3.38 lakh boys.
A total of 4,993 students were denied permission to appear for the examination due to less than 75% attendance.
No question paper leak rumours
On the eve of the examination, the PU department had a sigh of relief as there were no rumours or social media forwards of the leaked question papers.
