Bengaluru: Hemant Nimbalkar, husband of Khanapura MLA Anjali Nimbalkar is now facing a CBI trouble in the IMA scam. Nimbalkar, who is facing the charges of going soft on the IMA company while he was the IG CID (economic offences) and gave a favourable report to the company was grilled for the second time by the CBI on Thursday.
It was his second appearance before the CBI in this scam. If sources are to be believed, the CBI asked Nimbalkar to submit a few more documents related to the case.
Presently, Nimbalkar is working as the IGP & Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration) in the city.
